KLJ Consulting’s DocTrak Document Control System

Effective management of documentation and information flow is essential to the success of your project.  The bigger the project, the harder this task will become.  KLJ Consulting has experience in even the biggest of projects and can offer effective document control systems and services.

Our DocTrak System has been developed to provide a straightforward and dependable system of recording and tracking project documents, in particular drawings and documentation that are subject to revision and re-issue.

DocTrak is a computer-based application that allows the user to:

• keep track of all incoming and outgoing drawings and documentation
• keep control of the status and distribution of drawings and documents
• store and archive documents for future reference
• provide details of what you received when and from who
• record details of your own distribution

DocTrak includes a report function that enables the user to see who has received copies of drawings and documentation, including details of all revisions issued and when each was received.  It also allows the user to see the latest status and revisions of any document.

KLJ Consulting’s DocTrak system provides confirmation that the required version or revision of any document has been issued and to whom it has been distributed.
