The Mount Arthur North Operation was developed to take advantage of the mining potential of the Bayswater Mine Lease in the upper Hunter Valley of NSW.  The project included the design, construction and commissioning to provide the infrastructure of a modern coal mine, including coal handling and storage facilities, a coal preparation plant, and administration and service facilities.

KLJ Consulting Group provided experienced personnel for the project operating in the roles of contracts management as well as the procurement and expediting areas.  KLJ Consulting’s scope included the preparation and review of tenders and contracts and the administration of all contracts from site, ranging from design, construction and commissioning through to equipment supply, delivery and installation.  KLJ Consulting also provided their qualified personnel and systems for document management services for the project.
