The development of a new train load out facility at the West Angeles iron ore mining facility in the Pilbara region of Western Australia has generated the requirement for the design and construction of a new train loading chute together with a new control room facility.

KLJ Consulting provided personnel for the construction and engineering management of the project including procurement, manufacture, fit-out, no-load testing and delivery of the new clam shell train load-out chute and control room.  KLJ Consulting performed testing at a facility near Newcastle, NSW prior to delivery.  Following the successful completion of testing, KLJ Consulting had the responsibility for delivery of the chute and control room assemblies to the Pilbara site.
